Madcat design studio is a beautiful Warehouse space above the shops In Trafalgar St. just along form the Cinema. The entrance is on New St. The studio workshop accommodates large cutting and textile printing tables together with the machinery to make the exquisite unique corsets.

In the last 5 years Madcat owner Jill Alexander has expanded her design skills to include:

Commercial interiors- fashionable solutions for commercial interiors.

Puss Puss Bridal Wear, historically inspired outfits for the fashionable discerning bride

Illustrations of some of Nelson Landmarks sold as prints and Christmas Cards. Commissions accepted.

Jill Alexander has over 30 successful years in the fashion industry after graduating from the prestigious St. Martins School of Art, London in 1977. She has been involved in major companies in England and as a fashion educator in New Zealand.

Madcat started in 2000 as a Nelson designed and made range of fashion collections sold through out New Zealand.
